Convocation September 3, 2013

We were asked to pitch our project at the 2013 freshman and transfer student convocation to promote the DifferenceMaker program. With four days notice, we were able to retool our pitch to cater to students who are about to embark on the journey most of us have just finished.

Our competition for the pitch contest was Grab-a-Bite, another DifferenceMaker success, and SmartParty. We would like to congratulate SmartParty on their first time pitching!

We won an additional $1000 for coming in second to Grab-a-Bite in the contest which will help us afford our provisional patent!
